Das Leben ist nicht immer ruhig. Es ist nicht schön von Vater, Mutter, Brüdern und Schwestern getrennt zu sein. Allein zu leben ist schwer, weil es niemanden gibt, der dich unterstützen kann. Ich glaube, dass eine Familie das Leben eines Menschens erleichtert und hilft, alle Träume zu verwirklichen. Aber ich bin weit weg von meiner Familie und ich sehe sie nicht und ich weiß nicht, ob ich sie in meinem Leben wiedersehen werde. Ich lebe in Deutschland und bin traurig, weil ich eine Duldung* habe und nicht weiß, was mit mir passiert. Ich bin traurig und weit weg von meiner Familie.

Life is not always quiet. It is not nice to be separated from your father, mother, brothers and sisters. Living alone is hard because there is no one to support you. I believe that a family makes a person's life easier and helps to make all dreams come true. But I am far away from my family and I can't see them and I don't know if I will see them again in my life. I live in Germany and I am sad because I only have a toleration* and I don't know what will happen to me. I am sad and far away from my family.

Das jesidische Neujahrsfest Sersal wird auch Çarşema Sor („Roter Mittwoch“), Çarşema Serê Nîsanê („Erster Mittwoch im April“), Çarşema Sersalê oder Çarşema Serê Salê („Mittwoch des neuen Jahres“) genannt. Es wird jedes Jahr am ersten Mittwoch im April nach jesidischem / julianischem Kalender gefeiert. Der „Rote Mittwoch“ ist nach êzîdîscher Mythologie der Tag, an dem die Schöpfung der Erde vollendet wurde. Die Sonnenstrahlen erreichten zum ersten Mal die Erde, sodass sich das Firmament rot färbte.

The Yazidi New Year festival of Sersal is also called Çarşema Sor ("Red Wednesday"), Çarşema Serê Nîsanê ("First Wednesday in April"), Çarşema Sersalê, or Çarşema Serê Salê ("Wednesday of the New Year"). It is celebrated every year on the first Wednesday of April according to the Yezidi / Julian calendar. According to êzîdî mythology, "Red Wednesday" is the day on which the creation of the earth was completed. The sun's rays reached the earth for the first time, turning the firmament red.
